| Aerial Roots Live, 7th May 2004 | Venue: Bunkers Hill Inn |

Well, out of all the reviews we got sent by our fans this one was the best. That's right, we only got one. Lazy sods. Anyway, take it away Mr. Jass: Twas a dark and stormy night as a crowd gathered at the Bunkers Hill Inn. They came for good music, a chance of alcohol and a little light comedy on the side and they were not to be disappointed. Aerial Roots delivered spectacularly, playing one quality song after another, even provoking a mini mosh pit towards the end (and a lone crowd surfer). I for one was disappointed at the distinct lack of Busted numbers in the mix but aside from that it was a genius night. To the band I say 'Ta muchly' for a great performance and I'll probably be seeing y'all at your next gig.

| Chromium Records Showcase, 4th December 2003 | Venue: The View, Frodsham, Cheshire |

Right,
so there we were off to Frodsham. Party Capital of We
got to the club and were astounded to see the place almost completely
empty. There was some crazy Romanian woman strangling a cat and some
grumpy looking regulars. Well anyway, it was finally time for Arial Roots
to take the stage.

| NGHS Summer Fair, 5th July 2003 | Venue: Nottingham Girls High School |

When I heard about a new band playing at the “Girl’s high school” I was of course sceptical as you can imagine. As I had nothing much better to do I decided to give it a chance. When I arrived things were a bit chaotic as there were many things happening on this day, for some reason the organisers put the band last and therefore lost most of the audience. But when they finally got to play I was pleasantly surprised by their performance. It was very mellow with gentle rhythmic pulses, which I found very relaxing. But for me the highlight had to be their humour between songs. All in all if you are looking for up and coming new bands with high entertainment value or you are just bored you should certainly give this one a try. 7/10 |
